Throughout the month of September, Jackson Events has had a busy, but very fun and eventful month.  Featured in this story will be a few of the countless highlights throughout September at Jackson Events.

On September 12th, Jackson Events was proud to be a part of the 12th Annual IKO Charity Golf Tournament.  Founded in 1951, IKO is a pioneer world leader in producing top end roofs for virtually any type of structure.  IKO currently has more then 3500 employees in more then 25 plants throughout Canada, United States, England, Belgium, Holland, France and Slovakia, shipping roofing products to 96 countries throughout the world.  Jackson Events is proud to be affiliated with a top notch corporation by being apart of the IKO Charity Golf Tournament.  The event was held at the beautiful Station Creek Golf Course in Gormley, Ontario.  This year’s IKO Charity Golf Tournament was held for the benefit of the Bnei Akiva Schools of Toronto.  The proceeds from the event went to provide support for scholarships for students in need of financial assistance.   The event commenced festivities at 9:30 am with registration.  Following registration the participants had the opportunity to make use of Station Creek’s putting green and driving range while having refreshments and a light lunch.  Tournament play began with a shotgun start at 12 noon and was played in best ball scramble format.  As part of the tournament, participants could bid on having former Toronto Maple Leafs captain and fan favorite, Wendel Clark, join their group for 9 holes. Wendel Clark was highly visible throughout the day, signing autographs, including jerseys, took pictures and interacted with golfers during the course of the event.  The participants were also treated to a BBQ as part of their golf round.  The post golf cocktail buffet reception began at 5:30 pm with the event ending with Wendel Clark giving a short speech as part of the presentations, which also featured a raffle draw and silent auction, both which had great items.  Jackson Events would like to thank IKO, the tournament volunteers and the participants for making the 12th Annual IKO Charity Golf Tournament one to be remembered.
