Rocky Bleier
A man whose story inspired a book and an ABC-TV Movie of the Week, Rocky Bleier has overcome adversity to achieve great heights. A promising running back, Bleier was drafted into the United States Army to serve in Viet Nam. While there, he was crippled by enemy rifle fire and grenade wounds to both legs. What would have debilitated most people pushed Bleier to overcome his injuries. After two years of rehabilitation, he joined the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers and went on to win four Super Bowls. His speech, Be the Best You Can Be, motivates audiences to keep on striving for greater accomplishments.
