Michael Burgess
Coming to prominence as Jean Valjean in the original Canadian cast of Les Miserables, Burgess is accomplished in virtually every entertainment medium: television, film, recording, and performance. He has honourably sung both the Canadian and American national anthems at a variety of sporting events, including the Canada Cup. He won a Gemini award for his special, Michael Burgess at Massey Hall, and performed with the Calgary Philharmonic to a sold-out audience. He is a spokesperson for the Special Olympics.
