Orest Kindrachuk
Signed by Philadelphia as free agent in 1972, he broke onto the team the following year. As a third-line centre, he scored 41 points and helped the Flyers win their first Stanley Cup in 1974. The next year, his solid checking helped the Flyers to their second Cup. He began to score more points in the years that followed and occupied one of the safest places in hockey as the pivot for tough wingers Don Saleski and Dave Schultz. The Flyers traded him to Pittsburgh in 1978; he finished his career with Washington in 1982. Kindrachuk now lives in New Jersey and works in insurance.
