
Don Luce
Chosen by the New York Rangers, Don Luce was traded to the Red Wings for a season before moving to Buffalo in 1971. It was here that Luce became one of the top defensive centres and penalty killers in the game. In 1975, he helped Buffalo reach the Stanley Cup finals and won the Bill Masterson Trophy. After briefly playing in Los Angeles and Toronto, he retired in 1982. He has been Director of Player Personnel for the Buffalo Sabres for the last 17 years. He is a member of the Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame, ranking in the top ten in eight categories for the Sabres.
