Peter Mahovlich

For years the biggest player in the NHL, Peter Mahovlich was great with the puck.  After starting in Detroit, Mahovlich was frustrated at the lack of games that he got.  In 1969, he was traded to Montreal and spent another season shuffling between the majors and the minors.  After that season, he became more aggressive and scored 35 goals, earning an invite to the 1972 Summit Series.  He won four Stanley Cups with Montreal and topped 100 points twice during that tenure.  In 1977, he was traded to Pittsburgh and then returned to Detroit with a $1 million, five-year contract.  When Ted Lindsay left, he was relegated and retired in 1982.
