Eddie Mio
A NCAA star in the 1970’s, Eddie Mio was drafted by both the NHL and the WHA. Eventually ending up with the Indianapolis Racers, he befriended Wayne Gretzky and they were soon on their way to the Edmonton Oilers. Mio helped turn the Oilers into a winner before he was traded to the Rangers. He played two seasons in New York before rounding out his career in Detroit. He is now the Director of Player Development for the Phoenix Coyotes.
