Brendan Morrison
After being drafted by New Jersey in 1993, Brendan Morrison opted to attend the University of Michigan. He led the Wolverines to the NCAA title in 1996 and won the Hobey Baker Award in 1997. In his first pro season, he was an occasional call-up for the Devils but secured his place the following season with 46 points. Halfway through his third season, Morrison was traded to Vancouver where he became a solid two-way player, scoring at least 50 points in each of his four seasons there. He won a gold and silver medal with Team Canada at the World Hockey Championships in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
