
Bob Nevin
Bob Nevin scored 21 goals as a rookie in 1961 with the Maple Leafs. He won two Stanley Cups with the Leafs in 1962 and 1963 but was prevented from the third when he went to the Rangers in 1964. He played seven seasons for the Blueshirts, including six seasons as their captain. In 1971, he moved to Minnesota to provide leadership for the fledgling club. Claimed by Los Angeles in the 1973 Expansion draft, Nevin played some of his best hockey on the West Coast. He jumped to the WHA’s Edmonton Oilers in 1977 but was forced to retire with a broken collarbone after only 17 games. He became an assistant coach with the Kings and then spent 24 seasons as the Ranger Vice-President of PR and Communications. He is currently Director of Communications for the NHL.
