Bob Nystrom
Playing over 900 games for the New York Islanders, Bob Nystrom was an important part of the Long Island dynasty of the early 80’s. Drafted by NY in 1972, he played a handful of games that year. A tough player, he ended up with seven 20+ goal seasons. He was a part of all four of the Islanders’ Stanley Cup wins and retired in 1986. Nystrom is still very active in both business and charity on Long Island.
