Larry Playfair

Larry Playfair was an enforcer, through and through.  However, he knew his role as a defender and did his job.  Drafted by Buffalo 13^th overall in 1978, he played 26 games for the Sabres that season.  He remained with them for six and a half seasons, when he was traded to Los Angeles in 1986.  He remained on the west coast for two more seasons before moving back to Buffalo.  He retired in 1989 and now does colour commentary for Sabres games.
