Andrew Raycroft
Andrew Raycroft was the first goalie in 50 years to be awarded the OHL’s Most Valuable Player and thus was named Top Goalie in the CHL. This was all after the Boston Bruins drafted him 135th in 1998! Joining the Bruins in 2000, he spent the majority of the next three seasons in Providence with a call-up here and there. However, he earned the starter job in 2003 and went on to win the Calder Trophy for rookie of the year with 29 wins and a 2.05 GAA.
