Dave Schultz
A feared enforcer on a team of enforcers, Dave Schultz epitomized the Flyers teams known as the “Broad Street Bullies”. Known as “The Hammer”, Schultz waged some epic battles on the ice with tough guys from around the league. This formula worked as the Flyers won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 1974 and 1975. He played one more year with Philadelphia and then spent the next four seasons with Los Angeles, Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Schultz retired in 1980 and coached in a variety of leagues. He is currently the head coach of the UHL’s Elmira Jackals.
