Vicky Sunohara
The assistant captain for the Canadian National Women’s hockey team in Salt Lake City, Vicky Sunohara has been a key member of that team for over a decade. She has played in five World Championships (1990, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001), winning five gold medals at all of them. However, Sunohara’s biggest achievement could be her two Winter Olympics medals, most notably her gold in 2002. She is Canada's 6th all-time National Women's Team goal scorer with 26 goals and all-time leader with 6 game-winning goals at the World Championship. She is currently captain of the Brampton Thunder.
