Allan Bester
Biography
Perhaps best known for his stint with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the late 1980s, goaltender Allan Bester played a total of 219 NHL regular season games for the Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings and the Dallas Stars over 10 NHL campaigns. Bester also won a Calder Cup in 1993 with the Adirondack Red Wings and was awarded the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy as the AHL’s playoff MVP. Bester finished his career in the mid-to-late late 1990s in the old IHL, playing for the San Diego Gulls and the Orlando Solar Bears.
