Bob McGill
Biography
Rushed into the NHL because of the Leafs’ lack of defensive depth, Bob McGill received 263 PIMs in his rookie year in 1981. After three years, he still racked up the penalties but became steadier on the blue line. He was traded to Chicago in 1987 where he spent four seasons. From 1991 to 1994, he played for five NHL teams before finishing his career in the minors. After coaching in both the ECHL and AHL, he is now a analyst with Leafs TV.
