Raised in Toronto, David Merry is one of the most accomplished comedians you can find; as he gained an expertise in many platforms of entertainment. An accomplished magician, Merry participated in the 1981 World Blackjack Championship, making it to the third round and has written a book on roulette, titled Re-Inventing The Wheel. Merry got his start in comedy by performing at a local comedy club in his hometown of Toronto. After becoming a hit, Merry has since performed in over 7000 shows in various parts of the world and has appeared on more then 70 television shows. Merry’s accolades are impressive, as he has a Lifetime Achievement Award from Canadian Comedy Magic Seminar, a Club Comic of The Year Award and was once a recipient of the Best Variety Performer at the NE Entertainment Corporate Awards. Merry is also both an accomplished golfer and poker player, having played golf in Canadian Tour, Great Lakes Tour and North Atlantic Tour Events and made 3 appearances in the World Series of Poker. Throughout Merry’s entertainment career, he has performed at 3200 corporate events, 1400 golf outings throughout 54 countries on all 5 continents.
