John Ogrodnick
Biography
John Ogrodnick was drafted by the Red Wings in 1979 and scored 32 points in 41 games that year. He played seven and a half years for Detroit with his best season coming in 1984-85 — Ogrodnick earned 105 points. In 1987, he was traded to Quebec but only lasted out the season. He moved to the Rangers the following summer and stayed there for five seasons. He resigned with Detroit in 1992 but only played a handful of games with them and subsequently retired. Ogrodnick now works in the Detroit area as an investment counsellor.
