Rick Nash
Biography
Drafted first overall by Columbus in 2002, Rick Nash was the OHL’s 2000 Rookie of the Year, as well as a silver medallist at the 2002 World Junior Championships. Joining his NHL team in 2002, Nash had 39 points in 74 games with the Blue Jackets. The following season, he shared the Maurice Rocket Richard trophy for most goals (41) with Jarome Iginla and Ilya Kovalchuk. After nine years with the Blue Jackets, Nash was traded to the New York Rangers, where he continues to be a force on the ice for a strong Rangers team. Nash has also played in three Olympic Games for Canada, winning two Gold medals at the Vancouver and Sochi Olympics.
