Diana began her national team career in 2003 with Canada's women's team. Her first camp was under Even Pellerud at the Algarve Cup in Portugal, earning her first international cap in a loss to Norway. Since that time Diana has represented Canada over 190 times, earning her the distinction of being Canada's second most capped player in history. Her career has included 4 FIFA Women's World Cups (USA 2003, China 2007, Germany 2011 and Canada 2015), 3 Pan American Games (Bronze at Rio De Janeiro 2007, Gold at Guadalajara 2011), and 3 Olympic Games (Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio De Janeiro 2016). Diana is a two-time Olympic Bronze Medalist after reaching the podium in both the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. Diana may be best known for scoring the winning goal in the Bronze medal match at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Diana's proudest moments for Canada include: being a part of the team that qualified for the Olympics for the first time in Canadian soccer history; earning a Bronze medal at both the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games; and, despite two major injuries in the preceding year, representing Canada at a World Cup on home soil in 2015.
