He was drafted fifth overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1990 NHL Draft. Jagr quickly made his mark in the NHL, becoming known for his exceptional skill, strength on the puck, and durability. He played for multiple NHL teams over his illustrious career, including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, and Calgary Flames. Throughout his career, Jagr achieved numerous accolades, including winning two Stanley Cup championships with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1991 and 1992. He also won the Art Ross Trophy as the league's leading point scorer five times and the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's MVP in 1999. Jagr's career spanned over three decades, and he holds several NHL records, including being the second-highest point scorer in NHL history behind Wayne Gretzky. Internationally, he represented the Czech Republic in numerous tournaments, including the Olympics, World Championships, and World Cup of Hockey, winning gold at the 1998 Olympics.
