Lorie Kane

Starting the game of golf at the age of five, Lorie Kane turned pro in 1993 after several years on the Canadian National Team.  She earned her LPGA card in 1995 and finished third in 1996’s LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, which earned her an exemption for the next year.  In 1998, she earned her first LPGA hole-in-one.  In 1999, she crossed the $1 million earnings mark.  The year 2000 was her best career year by far – she won three LPGA tournaments and crossed the $2 million mark.  In 2001, she won her fourth career tournament and crossed the $5 million mark in 2004.  In 2006, Kane became a member of the Order of Canada.  Throughout her career, she has been one of Canada’s most successful career golfers.
