Mike Brown

Beginning his hockey odyssey in the amateur ranks, Brown showcased his talent with the US National Development Team Program and later made significant strides at the University of Michigan. His standout performances attracted the attention of NHL scouts, leading to his selection by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Transitioning to the professional realm, Brown navigated the ranks of the Canucks' affiliate team, the Manitoba Moose, before earning his NHL debut with the Canucks in 2007. His tenacity and determination on the ice quickly garnered attention, culminating in his first NHL goal during the 2007–08 season. Subsequently, Brown's journey in the NHL took him to various teams, including the Anaheim Ducks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, San Jose Sharks, and Montreal Canadiens. Known for his physicality and willingness to protect his teammates, Brown made significant contributions to each team he represented, earning respect both on and off the ice.
