Rachel Homan is one of the most well-known names in Canadian curling. She began the sport at just 5 years old and won four straight-provincial championships before she turned 16. In 2016, Team Homan made history by competing in the Elite 10, becoming the first women’s team to play in GSOC men’s invitational since Sportsnet acquired the series in 2012. She qualified for the Olympics in both 2018 and 2022 but did not medal. Team Homan has won 5 Scotties Tournament of Hearts Gold Medals, representing both Ontario and Canada. In 2024, Rachel won her 17th career slam title, tying her with Jennifer Jones for the most slam titles ever. Bringing home the gold from Uijeongbu in 2025, this marks her third World Championship.
