He also represented the Senators at the NHL All-Star Game in 2000 and 2001, solidifying his status as one of the league's elite players. Bonk's journey in professional hockey extended beyond the NHL, including stints with the Los Angeles Kings and the Montreal Canadiens, before eventually transitioning to the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. He concluded his playing career back in the Czech Republic with Oceláři Třinec in the Czech Extraliga.
