T.J. professional ice hockey player from Chatham, Ontario, got a big start to his career when he joined the OHL to play for the Saginaw Spirit in 2006. He went on to play for the Spirit for four seasons and collected 50 points in his third season on the team. Inside the OHL, T.J. was praised by his coaches for being one of the greatest all-around defencemen in the league. Within his 2009-2010 season, he was traded to the Barrie Colts to finish off his career in the OHL. In the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, T.J. was selected in the 4th round, 114th overall, by the Calgary Flames. In 2010, he joined the Calgary Flames affiliate team Abbotsford Heat in the AHL, where he was a top scorer and a top prospect on the Heat. T.J. played his first big season with the Flames in 2011-12 and continued to play with the organization for a total of 10 seasons. Following that T.J. played 4 season with the Toronto Maple Leafs before he became a Chicago Blackhawk in 2024 where he plays today. Internationally, he made one appearance for Team Canada in 2013 at the Ice Hockey World Championships.
