Bio

A key fixture on Canada’s National Women’s hockey team during her playing days, Cassie Campbell-Pascall wore the ‘C’ in every international event she played in from the 2001-2002 season until her retirement in 2006. One of the most decorated international hockey players in history, Campbell-Pascall won six World Championship gold medals, as well as a silver. However, her most well-known achievements came in the form of two gold medals at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, and the 2006 Winder Olympics in Turin. Campbell-Pascall was also a member of the Canadian team that won a silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. Following her playing career, Cassie became the first woman to do commentary on a Hockey Night in Canada broadcast when she joined CBC as a rinkside reporter and was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2016.
